Works In Metal has been in operation for over 15 years and is owned and managed by John Burgess. A skilled team of employees help in the production of these exquisite pieces.During these 15 years, Works In Metal has worked in collaboration with other artist and designers such as Imin Markus, Innovative Designs & Interiors, Talma Mill Studios and Carol Cuke. Mr. Burgess has produced the Barbados Tourism Awards in both 2006 and 2007 which was designed by Donna Redman of Acute Vision. He has also produced the Bussa Icon at the National Heroes Gallery and has been featured in magazines such as Island Life and Signatures. Some of his functional artwork has been displayed at art exhibitions in France and Columbia. He can also boast of designing metal fixtures for the Tiger Woods wedding held in Barbados in 2005 and producing metal work for several upscale villas along the West Coast. The work of John Burgess can be found in homes and hotels in Mustique, Dominica, St. Lucia, California and Bermuda just to name a few.
